When you play Minecraft, what kind of tools do you generally use?
Do you stick with the cheap n easy stone tools?
Or how about iron or diamond tools?

stone tools are easy to make and i usually have a bunch of cobble from mining anyway

Iron is durable and usually I find lots of it once I start mining. A lot better than using stone

Stone! Cheap and easy to replace. I keep an iron with me for the good stuffs.

I usually use iron, because I usually find a lot of it on my search for diamond.
Though if I think about it, I always keep a diamond one, to get out of those horrible tight spots when a monster is chasing you, etc..

I definitely use stone tools when I'm mining.. It's just more economically efficient.. I don't use cobble for anything and I end up with at least a chest full of it after mining a few times.. So, instead of throwing it away, I might as well use it for something. But, like Aps, I carry an iron pickaxe around as well in case I run into fun stuff like diamonds / red stone! :3
